So is Christmas pagan or not?

Sometimes we might have to go against the grain in order to follow God.Christ, again, is clear about that: Matthew 7 when He talks about entering by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

I mean it definitely feels like that sometimes. We’re just going totally against what the rest of this world is doing. Maybe it’s time to let God tell us how to live and how to honor Him. It’s incredible that God actually gives us days to worship Him. Real days! Holy Days and His Sabbath. Days that picture His plan to expand His Family. He tells us to teach our kids about those things, not made up holidays.

Maybe it’s time to take another look at Christmas. Maybe it’s time to look at whether or not I’m willing to give up my way– or any of us are willing to give up our traditions, our customs, in order to follow our Father and Jesus Christ, no matter what.But hey, I’m just a guy waiting for my groceries.
